b. Engage in continuous learning to deepen professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions in organizational change and leadership, project management, and adult learning to improve professional practice.
As an educator, education for my professional knowledge and to increase my skills based is a priority of mine especially since educational technology and trends are ever evolving. I have started my professional growth by taking two steps important steps in deepening my knowledge in Educational Technology. My first step is to become a Google Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2 by completing and passing the rigorous course establish by Google. The goal is to complete this course by the next semester and be certified by the next professional development at my site. My second step is to continue to attend and complete Educational Technology PD sessions/certifications online and off. One certification listed bellow is my Chrome Classroom Professional Development MOOC course where I received skills to incorporate Google Drive in the classroom and feel at ease using Chromebooks at my site.
Reflecting on my own professional development, I strongly believe that my eagerness to continue learning about new technologies in education and my passion in this field will continue to increase. It is without a doubt, that the ultimate goal of my own success is the success of further educators, students and administrators. I will continue to strive to continue the dialogue of organizational change and leadership at my school to enhance student learning and make technology accessible to our stakeholders, the students.
